The students of the One Year PGDM Batch 2018-2019 from ISBR Business School, Bengaluru visited the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2018 which was organised by the Department of Information Technology (IT) and Bio-Technology (BT), Government of Karnataka, at Bengaluru Palace on 30th November,2018. Professor Shiv Prakash accompanied the students.
The students got an opportunity to interact with many tech start-ups and also tech-giants such as BOSCH, IBM, Intel etc. It was inspiring to see the Start-up India campaign launched by the Government of India practically as the tech-summit featured budding start-ups and budding entrepreneurs from various backgrounds.
The students also had an opportunity to network with those entrepreneurs and got to experience their entrepreneurial journey. The entrepreneurs show-cased some of their models in the Innovation Zone at the tech-summit.
Interacting with the tech-giants of IBM, Intel and BOSCH threw the light on the innovative ideas those organisations were working upon. The visit was a fruitful one as students had the hands-on experience of the start-up ecosystem in India.
