International Women’s Day was celebrated on March 8th, 2019 at ISBR institution, Bangalore. The day commemorates the inspiring role of women around the world to secure women’s rights and build more equitable societies. Women’s Day also remembers the voices of many women that go unheard and who continue to be dominated by securing their rights and realizing their full potential. The objective of Women’s Day is to express love and gratitude towards women’s contribution to our lives and society. It honors the power and struggles of women who have broken all barriers and reached the pinnacle of success in every sphere of life. 

The women’s Day event was organized by the students in the campus by inviting Dr. Chandra Niranjan (Director Academics) as a chief guest and felicitated her, for great contribution to the ISBR Group of Institutions. 

The event continued with felicitating all the women faculties and professors by respecting their work and also who was a huge add-on to the success of the Institution. After that, the cultural activities took place by student’s groups with a variety of programs like group dancing, singing, and games played by the women faculties. The event was remarkable as all the Men who participated in the event have shown their respects towards women by singing songs that were dedicated to all the women present over there. The student group of boys had done a ramp walk which made the whole event joyful and memorable.
