ISBR Business School witnessed the presence of an eminent guest speaker Mr. Chris Moore on 7th April 2013. Chris is the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) and Deputy Director of Teaching and Learning College of Business at Massey University in New Zealand. He started the session with giving an introduction about the University, his job profile and New Zealand.
He continued with talking to the students about the “POWERPLAY PROGRAMME”, which involves students from other nationalities completing a part of their course in New Zealand, as a part of Student Exchange Programme undertaken by the universities. He emphasized on how a programme similar to this can be beneficiary for the Indian students.
Chris then answered the queries the students had, like the career options they have in New Zealand for further studies. Some other important topics were also discussed, like the trade differences between New Zealand and India, the Job opportunities available in New Zealand and the qualifications needed to acquire those jobs.
