On November 27, 2023, ISBR Law College, Electronics City, Bengaluru, proudly celebrated Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day), reaffirming its commitment to constitutional values and civic responsibility.
The event began on a solemn note with an invocation song by students followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by dignitaries, symbolizing enlightenment and unity. Dr. Tapan Nayak, Director, welcomed the gathering with an inspiring address that set the tone for the occasion. Dr. Balavanth Kalaskar, Principal of ISBR Law College, delivered an insightful speech emphasizing the significance of the Indian Constitution in shaping a just and democratic society.
As part of the ceremony, students and faculty collectively read the Preamble, resonating the foundational values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
The highlight of the event was a thought-provoking lecture delivered by Dr. Rahul Mishra, Professor of Law at Manipal Law School, Bengaluru. His talk focused on the philosophical underpinnings and evolving nature of the Constitution in contemporary times. To celebrate student creativity and engagement, certificates and prizes were distributed by the Principal and Director to the winners and runners-up of the poster-making and quiz competitions held in honor of Constitution Day.
