ISBR Business School, a pioneer in management education, marked a momentous occasion as it hosted the Inauguration Ceremony for the FPM batch of 2023. The event, held on February 25, 2024, at ISBR Business School Auditorium, witnessed the presence of distinguished luminaries from various industries, imparting their wisdom to aspiring scholars.
Among the esteemed guests were Dr Augustus Azariah, Regional HR Director for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa at Kyndryl, Dr Srijith Sreenivasan, the Global Director of Continuous Improvement at Schneider Electric and Mr Venkatesh R, Chief Scientist & Head of the Project & Business Management Directorate at CSIR – National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bengaluru.
Dr. Anand Agarwal, the Executive Director of ISBR Business School, set the tone for the ceremony with a profound welcome address. He emphasized that the FPM program is not merely a course but an odyssey into the realms of managerial scholarship. Dr. Agarwal highlighted that participants in the FPM are more than just students; they are torchbearers of intellectual curiosity, catalysts of change, and architects of a new era in management thinking. Dr. Augustus Azariah delivered an inaugural address, sharing his insights on the Future of Work and Digital Transformation in HR. His distinguished career and commitment to social entrepreneurship were highlighted, emphasizing his focus on advancing women’s causes and supporting STEM education. Dr. Srijit Sreenivasan shared his vast experience, emphasizing his expertise in Quality, Innovation, and Agility.
Mr. Venkatesh R shared his thoughts on technology interventions in agriculture, emphasizing innovative and affordable solutions for farmers. His diverse expertise in techno-commercial, banking, finance, and project management added depth to the event. Dr. Manish Kothari, the Managing Director of ISBR Group of Institutions, delivered an inspiring Presidential Address, sharing his vision and wisdom with the audience. His commitment to holistic development and relentless pursuit of excellence was acknowledged.
The ceremony witnessed the inauguration of the FPM 2023 Handbook, symbolizing the academic journey undertaken by the scholars. The ceremony was graced by the presence of other key figures from ISBR Business School, including Dr Ks Anandaram, Senior Director of ISBR, Dr Nila Chotai, Director of Academics, ISBR, Prof. M R Jhansi Rani, Professor & Dy. Director of Research; and Dr. Lakshmi K S, Associate Professor from ISBR.
