ISBR Business School at IIC Regional Meet: Fostering Innovation in Higher Education

The Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) Regional Meet held at Reva University on December 9th, 2023, witnessed the active and insightful participation of ISBR Business School, reaffirming its commitment to fostering innovation in higher education. The collaborative spirit and dedication of ISBR faculty and students were on full display, marking a significant contribution to the consortium meeting and various discussions throughout the event.

Rtn Dr Sheetal Mahendher, the Professor and Head of the Department of QT and Business Analytics at ISBR, played a pivotal role in the consortium meeting. Her engagement showcased the collaborative spirit among IIC Presidents, emphasizing the positive outcomes of IIC initiatives in promoting innovation within the higher education landscape. Dr. Mahendher’s insights highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts and knowledge sharing in advancing educational practices.

The presence of Dr Richa Bhalla, Professor of Practice at ISBR, as a jury member and mentor in the Yukti Innovation Challenge, underscored the institution’s dedication to nurturing innovative ideas and projects. Dr Bhalla’s expertise contributed to the evaluation and guidance of participants, reinforcing ISBR’s commitment to providing a platform for students to explore and develop their innovative potential.
In addition to her role in the Yukti Innovation Challenge, Dr. Bhalla participated in a panel discussion on best practices and challenges faced by non-technical colleges. Her insights emphasized the significance of a multidisciplinary approach to innovation, aligning with the diverse academic landscape. This discussion highlighted the need for collaboration between technical and non-technical institutions to address challenges collectively and foster a holistic approach to innovation.
