The second edition of C – Talk Series was delivered by Mr. Anil Patro, Director HR, Meritor HVS India on 8th September 2018. Students gained insights into the Indian, Joint Ventures (Indian & MNC Partnership) and MNC working culture as he shares his 20 years worth of experience! As Director, HR for Asia Pacific with Meritor Commercial Vehicle Systems India Pvt Ltd, Mr. Anil Patro’s C-Talk was sure to engross the audience with the in-depth knowledge he will bring in the field of HR.
He mentioned that during his journey how a person from MS in psychology and an II Tian ended up being a HR personnel. As he mentioned, introspection is the most important tool in an individual’s life and clearly mentioned that “NOTHING COMES EASILY”. While interacting, he even focused on the point that an individual should have a dream which can be visualized, and there has to be deadline to accomplish that dream. He talked about Career, Lifestyle And Self Management While talking about self management he focused on four main points:
a) Performance
b) Potential
c) Firmness
d) Consistency.
These should be the focus areas of an individual’s life to achieve success and growth for
a better life. He said that “MANAGING PEOPLE IS AN ART” and this art is perfected by an individual over a period of time and he or she continues to keep on learning. This gave ISBRians clear guidance on how to accomplish their goals in the right way and how culture, environment, and ethics play an important role in the growth of an individual’s life
