Speaker biographical information:
Mr Girish has been involved with IIM Bangalore’s digital learning programme for the past seven years. He has worked in the industry as well as in academia. He has spent the last 12 years working in the online and remote learning area. Digital learning programmes, education technology, MOOC production, project management, online and blended learning programme management, learning design, and content development are among his areas of expertise. Prior to joining IIM Bangalore, he worked for Mico BOSCH, HCL Technologies, Tata Group, and Manipal Education. He is now pursuing a doctorate in the field of online learning and MOOCs.

Abstract/Snapshot: On April 30, 2022, the FPM 2021 (new batch) orientation programme began. Mr. Girish V presented a presentation on “MOOCs and Other Digital Learning Programs.”

• Mr. Girish V presented a session on “MOOCs and Other Digital Learning Programs,” which included topics such as Digital Learning Programs- Categories, MOOC Aspects, and Choosing the Right Course. SWAYAM, edX, and the Blended Learning Program were also discussed by Mr Girish.

Scholar feedback: Scholars were quite pleased, and the Digital Learning session was both instructive and interactive.
