2021 FPM (new batch) Module I course work has begun, and a guest session on general management was given following Mrs. Sneha Rao’s presentation on “An Insight on Management.”

Mrs. Sneha Rao is currently employed as a technical writer with Synopsys. Before transitioning to Technical Writing, she worked as an HR manager for a number of semiconductor start-ups.
Mrs Sneha has chosen to work as a career consultant, assisting poor children in making career options. Mrs. Sneha is a VTU Instrumentation Technology graduate and a KSOU gold medalist in MBA, HR. She enjoys music and is eager to give back to society in her own small way.

The following are some of the takeaways from the event: Mrs. Sneha Rao, a keen HR practitioner and self-made personality, led the session on “An Insight on Management.” She gave an overview of management definition, nature, method, functions, and abilities in her presentation. F.W. Taylor, Henri Fayol, Max Weber, and Elton Mayo all contributed to the evolution of management ideas.
System approach and contingency approach are two management approaches. Business Organization – Types of Ownership, and so on, all of which are relevant to current practises. Mrs. Sneha Rao presented a number of real-life scenarios that she observed and resolved during her time working at multinational corporations.
