A non-profit organisation, M/s Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), organises competitions for MSMEs. This year, ISBR sent two teams (one from Academics) to compete, and both teams won gold in different categories. Teams who receive a Gold award will be entitled to compete at the national level. Between the 27th and the 30th of December, the National Level Competition was held at PSG Institute of Technology in Coimbatore. Under the Kaizen Category, one team consisting of Ms. Aishwarya S, Ms. Asritha Chokkara, and Mr. Subham Mukherjee competed on-line. There were three rounds to the competition. The first phase consisted of displaying the Kaizen sheet, the second round consisted of a PowerPoint presentation, and the third round consisted of a knowledge test. The team received a good award and was given the opportunity to compete at an international level, which was scheduled in Bali.
