Embark on a Career with our International Program

In today’s highly interconnected world where International value chains of companies spread across border organisations have become International in nature. Every single of India’s top 500 companies has its presence in more than one geography and often more. In such a situation working and managing International business problems and challenges requires the managers of tomorrow to have a truly International mindset . Our management education at ISBR is designed to develop such a mind-set.

This program will enable the aspirant to immerse themselves in the world’s most influential countries to acquire holistic learning of cross cultural sensitivities, real world experiences, the best of academic mentors both by foreign and Indian faculties, International industry visits, high tech classrooms, international standard facilities including comfortable accommodation, computer Lab, Online Library, sports and gym facilities.

Eligibility

  • The student needs to fill up the declaration form of semester exchange, get it signed by their parents. If the parents’ signature is not available, then they can attach the hard copy of the mail consent sent by their parents. Then get the declaration form signed by the ISBR Accounts Department, Dean, Academic Director, and other concerned departments and hand it over to the International Office, ISBR, for the records.
  • The student will be eligible for an exchange program only after completion of the second semester with the home institution.
  • Students must have paid the full tuition fees for their selected program to ISBR before going for a semester exchange. Otherwise, it will lead to non-issuance of NOC and bonafide letters from ISBR to the student, which are very essential for visa processing.
  • Students must have cleared both first and second-semester exams before participating in a semester exchange.
  • There should not be a backlog of any papers in 1st or 2nd semesters.

Selection Criteria

  • Once the International Office receives the nomination requests from the partner institutions, the students will be nominated to these institutions, based on the students’ interests and their performance during the first two semesters at ISBR Business School. 
  • Once the nomination is done, the host institution (Partner) will mail the application form and the procedure to the nominated student. 
  • The student needs to complete the application process within the stipulated date and time. 
  • The host institution will issue the acceptance letter

What are the eligibility criteria to be qualified as international student in ISBR?

ISBR invites students from different international destinations. Below are the documents one should provide to avail admission in ISBR Institutions:

  • Completed Application Form, signed by the candidate (Click Here To Download Application Form)
  • Copy of a valid passport
  • Passport-size ID photograph (JPEG format, max size 200 KB)
  • Official transcript of records, translated into English
  • Certified copy of the latest degree (if applicable), translated into English
  • English Proficiency Certificate
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the home institution
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Motivation/Cover Letter in English

ISBR offers a variety of courses at the bachelor’s, masters and doctoral levels. Besides meeting the eligibility requirements of a certain course, the Admission Selection Committee at ISBR also looks into the overall fitment of the candidate.

To study in India, International Students must obtain student visa. It is issued based upon the course duration. Sometimes, looking into your documents & credentials submitted during visa application; visa duration varies from 6 months to 1 year. Students have to renew their visa with the support of FRRO (Foreign regional registration office), Bangalore.

International Students need to register with FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office) on their arrival. It must be done within 15 days of arrival in country.

Student are expected to submit FRRO documents, Proof of Address in India, Passport and Visa along with corresponding details to ISBR International Office Authority for police verification and registration.

Students participating in the one semester & immersion program will study at one of our partner universities.

  • One semester exchange program with partner university: 5.5 months
  • Two-semester exchange program with partner university: 11.5 months
  • The immersion program will last for up to 2 weeks
  • Fall Semester: From end of August to January of the following year.
  • Spring Semester: From March to August
  • Immersion Program: First week of June
  • Accommodation: €800 – €1,200 for a studio apartment. Sharing an apartment can reduce this cost to around €400 – €800.
  • Food: Approximately €180 – €250 per month.
  • Transportation: Around €50 – €100 per month for a public transport pass.
  • Utilities: About €30 – €50 per month for electricity, water, and internet.
  • Miscellaneous: €100 – €150 for personal expenses, entertainment, and other necessities.

So, in total, you might expect to spend around €1,360 – €2,200 per month (This is an approximate figure, subject to inflation.)

No, students on a student visa are generally not permitted to work.

The exchange program lasts only six months, and the university workload will be challenging enough to keep you fully engaged.

Yes! The Research Department often requires research assistants. You can volunteer for tasks such as data mining or data analysis if that aligns with your skills. At the end of the term, you may also request a certificate for your contributions.

Studying abroad in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, and multi-national environment is a valuable skill for future managers. It broadens your perspective, enhances adaptability, and helps you develop a global mindset, preparing you for international career opportunities.

  • Nomination: The ISBR Centre for International Relations will nominate you.
  • Application: The partner university will contact you via email with a link to upload your application. You will need to provide all required details, including accommodation preferences.
  • Decision: Your application may be accepted or rejected. If rejected, ISBR Centre for International Relations will apply to another university. Please note that this opportunity is a privilege, not an entitlement.
  • Acceptance & Documentation: Once accepted, you will receive an Acceptance Letter from the partner university. ISBR Centre for International Relations will provide a Bonafide Certificate and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for your visa process.
  • Visa & Travel: You will apply for a visa to travel to the Host country for a semester. ISBR Centre for International Relations will guide you through the process. After attending your visa interview, you must book a round-trip ticket before travelling.

The same number of subjects you would have studied in ISBR.

Yes, all credits earned at the partner university are transferable.

No. If you pass all your courses at the partner university, your transcript will be sent to ISBR and uploaded to the student portal. The partner university’s transcript will be used for evaluating your academic performance, and ISBR will generate your official mark sheet and degree accordingly.

Yes. The value depends on the coursework you complete and how effectively you showcase it in your resume.

Many partner universities offer additional courses that can enhance your career prospects. You may explore these options and consider pursuing further studies after completing your PGDM.
