Fueling Young Minds with Innovation & Insight: A Power-Packed Group Discussion Event at ISBR
At ISBR Business School, we believe that the future of business lies in nurturing young minds through real-world exposure and thought-provoking challenges. Staying true to this vision, we recently hosted a high-impact Group Discussion (GD) Competition on Innovative Business Trends — an event that merged industry relevance, alumni expertise, and student creativity into one powerful learning platform.
What made this event truly distinctive? Each team was presented with a curated topic on emerging business trends, carefully designed and assigned by our very own industry-savvy alumni judges. From AI-driven supply chains to sustainable startup models, the themes reflected the pulse of today’s dynamic startup ecosystem and challenged participants to think beyond the classroom.
The result? A high-energy atmosphere filled with sharp insights, disruptive thinking, and collaborative spirit. Students stepped up with bold perspectives, structured analysis, and strategic recommendations — demonstrating not only their understanding of current trends but also their readiness to shape the future of business.
Meet Our Esteemed Alumni Panel
We were honored to have three of our distinguished alumni return as judges and mentors, each bringing invaluable experience from leading organizations:
- Watan Singh – Business Manager – Sales, CyberPWN Technologies
- Himanshu Mandal – Lead – Partnerships, TIA Summit
- Harsh Lala – Account Manager – NSS, Amazon
Their expert feedback, real-world anecdotes, and mentorship enriched the session, offering students a rare opportunity to engage with leaders who once walked the same campus corridors. This alumni-student engagement fostered an inspiring synergy — one that fuels long-term learning, professional grooming, and networking.
The Power of Practice: Where Learning Meets Leadership
Events like this are more than just competitions — they are live laboratories of leadership, strategy, and innovation. In today’s fast-evolving, innovation-first economy, success demands more than textbook knowledge. It calls for the ability to think critically, speak with impact, collaborate across ideas, and tackle uncertainty with confidence.
Our GD competition brought all of that to life. With real-world business trends as the backdrop and industry-aligned alumni as mentors, students gained direct exposure to what truly matters in the corporate world — analytical sharpness, strategic clarity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
This initiative wasn’t just a platform to perform; it was a launchpad to grow, reinforcing ISBR’s strong commitment to experiential learning, career readiness, and industry integration.
A big thank you to our visionary alumni and spirited student participants who made this experience truly transformative. At ISBR, we’re energized to curate more such immersive, real-world engagements — bridging classroom potential with boardroom relevance.
Because here, we don’t just prepare graduates. We shape tomorrow’s leaders.
